1. Plug in your Alcatel Speed Touch USB Modem. Windows Plug and Play will launch: click Cancel. Insert the CD driver and when the installer launches, click Next.

2. Read the Software License Agreement and click Yes to continue.

3. Click Next to install the software to the depicted directory.

4. Click Next to add the Speed Touch USB to a program folder.

5. The installation will commence.

6. The Found New Hardware Wizard will appear. Make sure that "Install the software automatically" is selected and click Next.

7. The Wizard will search for the new hardware. When it is found, click Next. A warning will appear stating that the software is not Microsoft certified. Click Continue Anyway.

8. Click Finish to complete the installation.

9. A Solid green icon will appear in the system tray, in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. When the icon goes green, the modem has synced.
